Mizpah Shrine Radio Unit is an active club/unit within the Northeast Indiana area covered by the Mizpah Shrine, providing a club station, W9FEZ, at the Shrine Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with a remote operation capable HF setup using a Kenwood TS-590S with an A4S beam at 37 feet, and a very effective roof mounted vertical.  Also, VHF and UHF radios and antennas are available.  HF activitity includes FT8, FT4, CW and SSB.  The unit also is active every field day, operating from Huntington County at a very quiet QTH provided by a member.  The club also sponsors three repeaters located at the Freemason's Hall in downtown Fort Wayne on 145.33 MHz, 224.780 MHz and 444.800 MHz with the antennas at 140 feet on top of the building.  To become part of the unit you will be required to join the Shrine if you're already a Master Mason, and if not one, you will need to become a Master Mason.  To become one, ask one.  We are looking for men of high moral character who are focused on helping others, and in the case of the Shrine, children with disabilities or injuries at our hospitals and clinics.  This is our only charity.
