VUCC Satellite LOTW & Cards

All, I am ready to submit my VUCC application, but have aquick question. Most of my QSL's are by card, however i have about 15 or so QSO's that were QSL'd soley in LOTW. How do i go about getting all the grids confirmed? My guess is to submit the application through LOTW and then have the cards for the remaining grids checked by a local card checker.
