Is digital mode FT8 going to be included in the modes list for LOTW or is it on hold to see its popularity and longevity? |

It's a choice on the QRZ dropbox. They were hammering away with it on 20 meters this morning. and I logged 2 qso's. |

I Just started FT8 Mode today and worked over 35 contacts. It would sure be nice to Log them into LOTW |

I've logged 90+ QSO's on other web sites from 6 to 80 meters. I'm hoping with the popularity of the new mode that it would be included soon. Great seeing a lot of you on the waterfall. |

I have logged almost 200 FT8 contacts and would like to be able to get credit for them through LOTW. Any idea when it will be included? |

**ADDED** Latest update of TQSL and LoTW support FT8 without any fuss. Disregard following. Easy workaround: Run TQSL Select File > Display or Modify Prefences... Select ADIF Modes tab Add... ADIF Mode = FT8 Resulting TQSL mode: DATA OK OK Exit TQSL Now, when you run TQSL, ADIF file's FT8 QSOs will be mapped into DATA QSOs for LoTW. ARRL awards category DATA is the same as JT65 and other digital modes. It would be nice to record your Q's as FT8 in LoTW, but it's not necessary. 73 GL Martin AA6E |

The only problem now is if you have a contact uploaded as DATA and FT8 and then the contact partner uploads as DATA, LoTW does not match it with the DATA contact you uploaded but confirms you FT8 with their DATA QSO and that messes up FT8 WAS in the process. A clear flaw that hopefully they will correct.

I've never uploaded contacts as DATA but I have had a JT9 contact initially matched as DATA and then matched as JT9 months later, presumably when the other station uploaded the contact as a JT9 contact. Zack Lau W1VT |

Just curious, when I set up my account I tried to use my call but it told me the user name had to be six charachters, I come to the forum and discover there are usernames with fewer than six charachters, what did I miss?q |

ADIF Mode = FT8 Resulting TQSL mode: DATA OK OK Exit TQSL This doesn't work for me...program will not let me Add FT8 ( or ANY mode) into the box ...Cancel is highlighted and i cannot activate the "OK" button. What am I missing? |
