Grid Chase 2018 was lots of fun! Something you could do now and then, or really work at over a weekend when had time. A year long event that was suitable for many. Why not do one for 2020? Seems the procedures, systems and lessons learned from the 2018 grid chase are there for ARRL to refresh and offer this easily. |

https://www.levinecentral.com/ham/grid_square.php This grid calculator shows the location on a map so you can verify its validity. I think the year long events work best if they are actively managed. Maybe a volunteer with experience running other events, such as QRP or CQ events, needs to come forward and offer to run an event. Zak W1VT ARRL Senior Lab Engineer |
