I'm trying to verify my understanding of the rules regarding assisted operation (using a CW Skimmer and/or RBN spots, etc.) for Single Operator, Single Band entries. If I understand correctly, the rules now allow this type of operation. The new rules evidently refer to "assisted" operation as "unlimited" operation. If I understand correctly, it's now permitted to enter SOSBU (Single Operator, Single Band, Unlimited) using a CW Skimmer and/or spots from the RBN on a single CW band with 1500 watts output. Such an entry would only be competing with other SOSBU stations in the same band. Is this interpretation correct? 73, Riki Kline K7NJ |
