We are currently reaching out to the Youth in our service area. Our primary purpose is to provide Communications for local, state, etc. when needed.

HandsOn with LCARA we meet once monthly for hands on experience, with antennas, programing radio, and how to utilize HAM Radio not only as a hobby, but to aid those in need when communications from other sources are down.
All Club Meetings, Hands On VE testing, And annual events are Now held at Slate Branch Baptist Church 2941 Slate Branch Rd Somerset KY 42503
We have two repeater sites. We have workdays/clean up the yards and check out the al equipment etc. The lst Saturday and the 3rd Saturday.. We have other workdays also.
We are active in Community Events--5K Runs, Somernites Cruise ,where we have a special events station that day, with other clubs 100 NoBusiness Run, Technology Show case for high schoolers. Provide communications for McCreary Gravel Rally.
