Uninstall Aluma MP1/MP-2 KQ4B on 29/9/11
I am in the process of buying a used Aluma tower.

The tower is a MP-1 or MP-2 Mounting Post --no Concrete.

Has anyone *uninstalled* one of these? Got any good tips to share?

Add my vote for PDF!

But, having said that, there still could be a reason for an IPad/Tablet app. I would prefer that the files remain on the server unless I decide to download and store them. Being able to manage my subscription and to search the archive are other functions that could be included.

A quick search of the QST archives produced a good article on rewinding transformers.. And, I think the subject is covered in some older ARRL Hanbooks.

What type of capacitor do you want to build?

Mobile.exe works fine, but to a point. Once the overall electrical length exceeds about .16 wave length, the calculated figures aren't very accurate. THe ARRL Antenna book has all of the formulas you need (they're in the Mobile Chapter).

Tnx!

I will do moe comparisons. I have already started looking at the antenna Book method.

I have sent you one example via email.

I assume the process is get an initial design and then add the base matching. Note that mobile.exe does produce a capacitor value which I assume is to be used as shown in Figure 20D, Page 16-14, Antenna Book (20th ed.)..

Thanks for the assistance..
